In episode 96 of Hashtag No Filter Julie talks to author, podcaster, and social entrepreneur Nora McInerny, who has a story unlike most. In 2014, within a 6-week period of time, Nora lost her husband, father, and had a miscarriage. Yes, you read that correctly. Nora turned a mess into a message and a purpose and a passion. She is such an incredibly real, inspiring, motivational, and hysterical woman.

Julie Lauren is a podcaster, author, and writer. Her career began in the fashion industry with Intermix followed by Oscar de la Renta. She then went on to work with Petra Nemcova and her lifestyle brand. She launched her lifestyle blog in 2011 and began freelance writing at that time, as well. Her first book was published in 2015 titled ‘Oops!,’ which is an insider’s guide to dating, sex, and relationships in your 20s. Julie launched Hashtag No Filter in January of 2018.
