Former Telemundo Executive Joins reVolver Podcasts as Vice President of Content and Production

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–reVolver Podcasts welcomes Maria Lopez-Alvarez, an award-winning producer from media titans, Telemundo and Univision, as vice president of content and production.

Over the span of her more than 30-year career, Lopez-Alvarez has received numerous awards for her work including the Edward R. Murrow Award, Daytime National Emmy Award and Suncoast Regional Emmy Award, to name a few. Her accolades including being named one of the 15 most influential people in 2008 by People en Español. She is credited with creating and producing Univision’s most successful news and entertainment program, Primer Impacto, and its highly-successful reality competition show, Nuestra Belleza Latina.

More recently, during her tenure with Telemundo, she led the makeover of the network’s morning show, Un Nueva Dia, resulting in the program’s highest ratings in its history. Additionally, Lopez-Alvarez oversaw the development and production of the network’s Saturday night variety show, Que Noche!
